Savouring Excellence: A Successful Culinary Journey through Europe at ORGA WHOLE FOODS
In October 2023, the European Union in collaboration with Orga Whole Foods, took South Koreans on a delightful culinary journey through the heart of Europe.
This week-long event, from 20 to 26 October, was a resounding success. Thirteen Orga Whole Foods locations across South Korea, including seven in Seoul, five in Gyeonggi, and one in Incheon, came alive with the flavours and aromas of organic EU food and beverages, making it an event to remember for food enthusiasts.
The participating stores hosted tasting pop-up zones that allowed customers to savour a diverse range of top-quality organic foods from various European Union countries. The promotion was launched on October 20 October with a kick-start event at the Bangyi Store, featuring the presence of the EU Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Maria Castillo Fernandez, Orga’s CEO, Byeong-Gyu Kang, and other representatives from the supermarket.
Visitors had the opportunity to sample a wide array of EU food and drinks, including flavourful cheeses, exquisite olive oils, organic dairy products, and other items proudly bearing the EU organic logo, such as wines, fruit juices, chocolates, and confectionery.
One of the highlights of the promotion was the 20% discount offered on 134 products from 16 European countries. This allowed visitors to continue enjoying the flavourful experience at home, bringing a piece of Europe's culinary excellence into their own kitchens.
