Azeite de Moura PDO is Portuguese extra virgin olive oil. It is characterized by a goldish and green colour tone. Due to the absence of refinement methods, it has more concentration of vitamins and minerals such as vitamin E, Omega 3, and fatty acids.

Olive oil is a staple of Portuguese cuisine, where it is used as a condiment, for cooking, or frying food. 

Portuguese olive oil has been produced and exported to other countries since the 13th century. Nowadays, Portugal produces 5% of the whole EU’s production.
