Kiwi de Corse PGI
Origin: France

Kiwi de Corse PGI is a French variety of hand picked kiwi fruit which comes from small orchards in the Haute-Corse region of Corsica. The fruit is oval, has brown hairy skin, and when opened has bright green flesh dotted with tiny black seeds.
The soil in the region is ideal, ensuring that the kiwis are juicy and soft, with a sweet but slightly tart flavour.
Kiwis can be enjoyed on their own, cut open and scooped out of the skin with a teaspoon. Although best enjoyed raw, kiwi can also be made into jam, or turned into a syrup or liqueur.
