Colours by Europe. Tastes of Excellence hosted a series of Business Events at Seoul Food 2024

These initiatives were attended by food and beverages importers, distributors, retailers, and HORECA professionals, providing them with a unique opportunity to learn and engage with the rich and diverse world of European agri-food produce.

In line with the commitment to showcase and promote the best of the European Union's agri-food products, the following key events took place:

  • EU Meat Trade Seminar & Networking Cocktail on 10 June 2024: the seminar highlighted the quality, authenticity, safety, and sustainability of EU meats (beef, pork; fresh, processed). This was followed by a networking cocktail. 
  • European Organics Workshop on 12 June 2024: This workshop introduced the attendees to organic farming in the EU and EU organic products. It covered EU organics production regulations, food quality and safety standards, sustainability goals, and EU organics labeling practices. 
  • Live Cooking Show on 12 June 2024: During the live cooking show, Chef Hoyoon Kim, joined by television personality, Ida Daussy, presented two special menus. First, a succulent pork collar and asparagus wrapped in jamón serrano with buttered corn spiced with Pimentón de la Vera PDO and Irish Whiskey PGI; followed by tender beef ribs with organic garlic cream cheese and crispy focaccia.  These dishes demonstrate the unique taste, quality, safety, and versatility of EU agri-food produce.  

The event was a great success, and Colours by Europe highly appreciates the attendees' participation in June.
